May 3, 2007: The Christian Motorcycle Association, Operation Thank You, and some neighbors built a wheelchair ramp for injured soldier SSgt. Andrew McCann of Kennewick. Andrew was injured when an IED exploded under the vehicle he was riding in. He will be undergoing physical therapy for several months, but in the meantime, he is able to use the ramp to enter and exit his home more easily. When it was finished, Andrew gave it a "test run" and found it quite satisfactory.
Aug 2007: As an update, SSgt McMann has recovered nicely and we have had the good fortune to have him attend other events & even saw him at the fair, standing firmly on both feet! We are so proud of his persistence in his efforts to recover!
Always taking addresses for care packages !! Click here
May 2008: Just as an update - the McMann's had twins on Mother's Day. Andrew, Mary and son Joel, welcome home their new babies!

Aug 10, 2008: Operation Thank You was honored to have been asked by the Staff of Camp Patriot to assist in preparing a BBQ for a group of Wounded Warriors from Ft. Lewis. These amazing men and women were treated to a picnic, a boat ride along the Columbia and then attended a Rodney Atkins concert here in the Tri-Cities, before returning to Ft. Lewis. Please check out Camp Patriot and the incredible work they do for our Wounded Warriors. http://camppatriot.org
